Hawke’s Cardinal dump trailers are crafted with pride incorporating the same quality workmanship as the regular Hawke line, but changing some of the design features to bring you a dump trailer that does the same job, but at a lower price. We have been producing this product line since 2011. A single cylinder (non scissor) is the standard dumping mechanism. The floor to side wall transition inside the box is square rather than the rounded corner of the regular Hawke Trailers line and there are no outside transition covers. As this is an economy version, slide-in loading ramps are not offered. The tailgate is barn doors instead of the combo tailgate. The coupler is A-frame instead of adjustable. We use Castle Rock radials on this line. All of these changes are designed to reduce costs. The quality, workmanship, and durability are the same!
