"I started looking for a trailer in January of last year. It was a pleasure to meet many dealers at the PA Farm Show, however one stood out from the rest, Altmeyer. Your excellent staff, attention to detail, and communication with me made it the easiest transaction I have ever experienced. After speaking with you I felt confident my needs were met. They were exceeded and I have had many compliments on the condition of my trailer. Without asking the extra security checks, tire replacements, and reconditioning of the floors were completed. It was bit nerve racking to purchase a site unseen trailer and drive a 6 hour round trip for it but it was worth it. "Our experience at Altmyer’s has truly been beyond all expectations. I had found a ‘99 4-Star trailer on their website. It looked to be in very good condition and had many features that you don’t find on today’s trailers. My wife called and worked with Joey to arrange for financing; we felt if the trailer was as good as the pictures, we wanted it.
Joey really had his hands full with us after finance was approved. We live four hours from Altmyer’s in Virginia. It was Thursday, we could only make the trip out on Saturday, but if we liked the trailer, it had to be ready to roll and papers signed before 4 PM closing. We got there, viewed the trailer, asked questions to learn as much as we could for about 2 hours. We liked it, but then the mad dash to move our stuff from our trade-in to the 4-Star, unhook from the trade-in and hook up to the new trailer. We had to make sure that the 4-Star would hook up and ride right on the truck; no tools to make changes if it wasn’t right on the road!
The paper signing was probably the easiest that we’ve ever done. Joey had it all lined up, explained what it was all about and we were done in about 15-20 minutes.
One of the greatest parts of the whole experience was an issue that cropped up after we left. We were about an hour and a half from home when a brake problem developed. We were too far to go back and fortunately too cold for the brakes to burst into flames. In spite of the problem, we managed to haul our new trailer to our friend’s farm. The next day we called Joey to find out what our options were and to ask what he was willing to do about the situation. I told him I could do the mechanics if I had the parts. Joey came through with a full set of brakes shipped to me, no charge! We are back on the road thanks to his above and beyond dedication to customer satisfaction even on an As-Is trailer sale. Thanks Joey!

"We bought our lst 4Star trailer from you at Congress in 2001 and in the fall of 2003 went up to you in PA and traded it in on a 2004, 3 horse and had the LQ installed. You was very accomadating, meeting us half way with our new trailer. We use it 6 or 7 times a year camping and it is still doing great. We recently purchased a 2 horse bumper pull 4 Star. I hope I never have to settle for any other brand."

"I bought a 2006 Trail-et 2 horse straight load GN which I absolutely love. I do a lot of primitive camping so the insulated trailer is just wonderful! The best part is that you can customize the dressing area to a larger size or order it set up for LQ and from what I understand it can be finished at Altmeyers!
